ProDVX Firmware Re-Flash

If the device powers up as expected, but is stuck on the Android boot screen, please follow these steps to re-flash (factory reset) the ProDVX panel. You will need to re-install the relevant booking app after performing the following steps.Unplug everything from the device, including the power source.Press and hold the "Volume +" button.Whilst holding this button, provide power to the device (can be both PoE or PSU).Keep holding the button until the Android Recovery menu appears. In this menu, navigate using the volume (+/-) buttons to the format/wipe system option.Select this option by long pressing the circular menu button next to it.After confirming the reset, reboot the device and check and confirm whether it does so without any issues. After step 7, please be patient as it can take up to 10 minutes for the panel to reload. When the process is complete, you'll have a blank Android panel. As this process completely resets the panel, you'll need to reconfigure the network - so if you're using Wi-Fi you will need to re-authenticate.If you have any further questions, please contact support@ascentae.com to log a support ticket. Nureva HDL410 – Best Practice for Camera Integration Direct Integration

Nureva HDL410 – Best Practice for Camera IntegrationDirect Integration Before installing a camera steering and switching solution to integrate with your Nureva audio solution, we recommend you refer to the below information and important links. You can find comprehensive instructions on installing and configuring a Nureva / camera solution on the Nureva Support site. This article gives guidance you may not find online, plus some Top Tips that we have picked up.Understand the customer requirementsNureva can support both camera steering (tracking/switching presets), and camera switching (changing to different cameras). It is important to have a view of the customers room, and understand which areas of the room need to be covered by a camera.  From this, you can determine the number of cameras required and the fields of view.If you have any queries about this, please contact Ascentae for advice.  We can even offer a full pre-installation consultancy service to help with this.Understand the limitations of the technology – HDL300 / HDL310         When integrating with a HDL300 or HDL310, you have a single sound bar – and so only one point of reference.  The information passed to the camera controller is based on the central point of the sound bar.  This makes it an ideal solution for azimuth presets, with a single camera mounted in line with the centre of the sound bar.Typically, up to 8 presets can be configured, each covering 22.5° of the room. The same is true if you have the legacy Dual HDL300 system.  The reference point for camera tracking will be the centre point of the primary sound bar (plugged into port 1 on the Connect Module).  The 2nd sound bar is not used for camera tracking). If using more than one camera, the best position for the cameras is either side of the sound bar, each covering half the room and using 4 presets.Understand the limitations of the technology – HDL300 / HDL310The HDL410 has 2 sound bars and when correctly positioned in the room, they can deliver accurate X,Y coordinate information to the camera controller.  Depending on the sophistication of the camera controller, it can interpret those coordinates in different ways.                Select appropriate camera and steer to coordinate location                Select appropriate camera and steer using presets                Select appropriate camera and switch to pre-defined zoneNote:  Not all camera controllers support all these modes.  Refer the camera vendor documentation for details.Camera zoning is covered in detail in a separate knowledge base article.Choosing the correct cameraNureva have created a suite of API calls which different camera providers have utilized to integrate with the Nureva devices.  Currently these are Aver and Lumens, plus drivers and sound tracking modules by Crestron and Extron.Typically, each camera vendor has created a software camera controller (in some instances it may be a hardware device).  Nureva confirm compatibility with the camera controller.  However, not all cameras from a specific vendor will be supported on the controller software.  It is the responsibility of the integrator to confirm compatibility of cameras and camera control solution.Make sure you check the focus length / zoom capabilities of the proposed camera.  If you are installing in a large room, the camera should be able to zoom and focus clearly on the furthest participant.Currently supported camera drivers are as follows.Note that camera switching is not supported by PTZApp 2 (single camera only)Note that camera switching is not supported by CamConnect Lite (single camera only)Cameras that support preset recall and have a Crestron module can support sound location data.Cameras that support preset recall and have an Extron driver can support sound location data.Positioning of the Nureva Sound BarsFor the HL300 / HDL310 remember that the camera reference point is the centre of the sound bar.The ideal position for the sound bar is above the screen – allowing sufficient clearance for the audio to be reflected off the wall into the microphones. It is important that there is no obstruction underneath the sound bar as this will degrade audio quality and cause inaccurate sound location data.To ensure best audio performance, measure how far your screen sits from the wall, and mount the sound bar so the bottom is 1.5 x this distance.E.g.  if you screen sits 10cm proud of the wall, the bottom of the sound bar should be 15cm from the top of the screen.Refer to the Microphone clearance requirements guide for more detailshttps://support.nureva.com/docs/installation-hdl300-microphone-clearance-requirements-and-recommendations-2We recommend that cameras are mounted underneath the screen where possible, but if underneath HDL sound bar, allow at least 6” (15cm) clearance from the top of the camera to the bottom of the sound bar.Available ResourcesSupported camera solution reflectionsCameras are dumb and can easily be confused by reflections in windows.Be mindful of setting presets that can catch reflected images, or setting the camera to track in areas where windows will reflect if it’s dark outside.Ideally, curtains or blinds will not only avoid this issue, but have the additional benefit of reducing echo and reverberation in the room and so improve performance of the HDL device. If in doubt, ask AscentaeWe are here to help.  Please ask if you need any guidance, or would like to engage us to do a consultation on HDL and camera integration.

GoBright Advanced Gateway (AGW) Setup

The previous gateway models are the MGW211-DP24 and MGW211-DP28. This article is based on testing the AGW332-EU868 with firmware 1.0.0. We conducted these tests in August / September 2026. The GoBright Advanced Gateway is basically a solid piece of kit that hooks your devices upto the cloud. It makes sure all the data syncs perfectly and keeps your smart workplace online without any hiccups. Planning Your Installation ▼ When figuring out where to put your gateway, keep an eye out for things that can block the signal—like thick concrete walls, metal objects, elevators, and stairs. If you hit any dead zones, you might need to reposition the gateway or add an extra device to make sure the whole building gets solid coverage. Please see the GoBright Planning & Deployment guide here. Important: You must be an administrator on the GoBright portal to ensure you can complete the following steps. The GoBright mobile app is required (Android or iOS) and it needs to be running the latest version. Checklist ▼ ✓ A smartphone with the GoBright app installed. This is available for free from both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. ✓ Full admin access rights for your GoBright account that is logged in on on the app. ✓ Bluetooth enabled on the smartphone. Hardware Overview & Tech Specs ▼ The Small Antenna This is used for Wi-Fi communication and both 2.4 GHz and 5GHz are now supported. The Large Antenna This is used for any communication if LoRa sensors are being deployed. So far we have tested the Elsys LoRa Desk Sensor (EMS2) and the Elsys LoRa Room Sensor (ERS2). Hardware Information & Tech Specs Model Tested: AGW332-EU868 RF / Sensor Frequency: 868 MHz (EU868) dedicated LoRa band for long-range, encrypted sensor telemetry Wireless: Dual-band Wi-Fi: 2.4 GHz & 5.0 GHz Wired: RJ45 (ETH0, ETH1) Bluetooth: Built-in (for use in the commissioning process) Power Options: PoE+ (at 30W) which must be powered via the ETH0 port. Mains powered option available LED Indicators: Multiple LEDs to confirm the state of the device Security: End-to-end cloud encryption as standard, including hardware level packet filtering Prepare your GoBright Environment ▼ Before you begin commissioning the AGW, there's a few steps that you'll need to carry out in the GoBright portal. We'll guide you through them in this section.1) Login to your GoBright portal with administrator rights using this link. 2) Navigate to Settings > Devices > Profiles and select Add3) Change the the Type to Advanced Gateway, give it an appropriate name and save the settings4) On the same page, select Commissioning Presets and add a new preset. Give the preset a name(this will be shown in the next steps when we commission the AGW). Change the Type to Advanced Gateway and select the previous profile you've just set up5) Complete the required Connection and NTP settings. During our testing we enabled automatic NTP (via DHCP)6) Save the changes and you will see the new commissioning presetNow we can move on to the next step to commission the AGW. Commissioning The AGW ▼ As mentioned in the tech specs, the AGW is powered by PoE+ at 30W and must be powered via the ETH0 port. Do not use ETH1. A 230V power supply is not included as standard and must be purchased seperately. Please speak to your Ascentae Account Manager when ordering the AGW to make it clear that you require a mains power supply if you're not powering the device over PoE. Let's Get Started... 1) Make sure that the toggle switch on the top of the gateway is toggled off of 'boot' (toggle switch flicked towards the Ethernet ports). 2) Plug the PoE cable into ETH0 on the AGW. At this stage, please be patient as it can take around 10 minutes to complete the boot cycle. During this stage the LEDs will flash different colours and patterns until it settles down. 3) Now the device has booted, it's ready to commission - it will show a blue slow blink. This means it's in 'discovery mode'. 0 Discovery mode only remains active for up to 10 minutes and will require a reboot of the AGW if left longer. 4) At this stage we now need to fire up the GoBright app. Select the 3 horitzontal lines in the top-right and then Admin Tools and Commission a Gateway by QR Code.5) Select the pre-configured commissioning preset 6) The next step is to scan the QR code on the rear of the AGW. Complete all the required fields and move on to the next step. Shortly you will see the following screen confirming connectivity:7) After around 30 seconds the AGW will update to show two solid green LEDs. See the next section for a breakdown of the different LED colours. LED Indicators ▼ The AGW gives a clear indication of the status of the device.  Portal Information & Summary ▼ Now you have an active Advanced Gateway set up in your portal. Just head to Settings > Devices > Gateways. Here you can remotely:See and update the firmare the device is runningFind the serial number of the deviceConnection statusLocal IP address allocated to the AGW Technical Support ▼ We're here to help. Log a support ticket by contacting support@ascentae.com with as much information as possible and a member of the team will get back in touch.
